ICESPS - International Center For Environmental, Social And Policy Studies

ICESPS vision is to provide a forum via which environmental protection and conflict resolution as well as policy analysis can be achieved.

ICESPS ultimate aim is to make people the center and solution to their own problems. Solutions are to be an effort of, by and for the people. Hence, the people have to identify their own problems, prioritize them and come up with respective solutions for the qualified and experienced executive management personnel. In its various thematic subjects, each is headed by an expert assisted by a number of associate consultants.

• To identify legal, economic, social and other constraints affecting the environment and the draw backs hindering environmental protection.
• To liaise with other organizations having similar or related objectives to those of ICESPS, at any or all levels.
• To promote and undertake quality research, consultancy and extension activities, and to develop feasible ideas and training.
• To provide a link between the researchers, policy makers and targeted community sectors in the various countries.
• To encourage especially the implementation of policies, conventions and treaties promulgated either national, regionally or internationally for the enhancement of the stated objectives.
• To document, publicize, and disseminate the various studies undertaken.
• To endeavor to involve the public to participate in the environmental management and protection initiatives.
• To solicit funds for the various research projects, consultancies and other activities geared towards environmental protection.
• To work with, get support from, or be supported, or support universities and other institutions of higher learning in achieving the objectives stated herein.
